FRIED TACOS

Fried Tacos have become a family favorite as this dish is so versatile.

We call it "Fried" due to the frying of the corn tortillas, rather than buying commercial taco shells. This homemade version is delicious!

INGREDIENTS NEEDED

Ground Beef
Oil
Corn Tortillas
Grated Cheese
Rotel
Lettuce
Spices

Cook ground beef and drain. Add spices (Paprika, Garlic, Salt, Pepper)

Add 1 can of drained Rotel.

Simmer...

Add cooking oil to skillet and fry corn tortillas on both sides till crispy. Dry tortillas on paper towels.

Top tortillas with favorite ingredients.
Other ideas are - refried beans, sour cream, sliced Avocado. Can even substitute ground beef with chicken.

This dish is excellent for adding your veggies fresh from the garden, or picking up a blend of Spinach, Kale, Arugula, Lettuce... Chopped tomatoes can substitute for the Rotel

BEST OF ALL everyone can pile their own plates the way they like. Not to mention, leftovers are easy to heat up and to stretch into other meals. Score!
